The trough is designed to be mounted between the console and the heat pump. The advantages are many, the collection surface is much smaller and the trough therefore draws less power. Nice quick installation, the trough is almost invisible and feels like an integral part of the pump.
The trough is placed between the heat pump and the suspension. It fits all ground stands and wall brackets on the market. The drainage water is led away with ClimaLine's insulated drainage hose, heating of the hose takes place with a low-power heating cable (hose & heating cable not included in this kit). The heating mat is controlled by two independent thermostats. ClimaLine Pancake is tested down to -34°C
