The unit is preset to normal sensitivity, but can be switched to high or low sensitivity.
A slow beeping sound indicates that the unit is heating up.
The frequency increases when a leak is detected until an alarm sound signals a high gas concentration.
An illuminated bar graph indicates the size of the leak.
The ultra-sensitive sensor detects 5 ppm methane, 2 ppm propane.
It works equally well for acetylene, butane and isobutane.
